Perseus and the Gorgon's Head Paperback

Perseus and the Gorgon's Head is a 'choose your own adventure' book where you decide the destiny of Perseus, the Greek hero, as he journeys on a quest to bring back the head of Medusa, a mighty Gorgon. King Polydectes of Seriphos tricks Perseus into agreeing to fetch the snake-haired head of Medusa as a wedding gift. But can you manage to steer Perseus to the Isle of the Dead to steal her head away in order to return safely to his home? Beware, Medusa's eyes can turn anyone to stone! Luckily, being a demigod, Perseus has some friends in high places! Inspired by the 'Clash of the Titans' films, this book was a Literacy assignment at St. Mary's Catholic Primary School in Gosport, Hampshire. The Year 4/5 and 5/6 classes (8, 9 and 10 year-olds) wrote different sections of the story to be published in this book, with the help of Pupil 2 Publish, a project set up by a teacher at the school to motivate children to write by publishing their work. 50p for every book sold will help raise money for similar projects at the school.
